Owen has been sleeping much better since getting over his cold or allergies or whatever the heck he had. He has been throwing quite a few tantrums lately. I just checked his ears with a cool little otoscope we bought- yep- think that ol’ ear infection has come back. He keeps saying “ear” with a concerned look on his face. :P And here I was thinking we wouldn’t have to see the doc again until after the new year.

Star Date 10/12/04

Owen knows the sounds several animals make. Cat, dog, caballo (horse), lion, chicken, cow, mama & dada. He had mama down (no! no!) but then we threw in the sound that dada makes (doh!) and now he gets us mixed up.  He’s been eating like a little piglet and his tummy gets all tight after he eats so he’s got a little pot belly hanging over his skinny little legs.

We just found out our friends Mike and Kelly are having a little girl (due in Feb or March)- I can’t keep these pregnant friends straight anymore. Can’t wait to meet little miss Artemis Kahoe!

Star Date 8/30/04.

As of yesterday, we cut Owen’s hair. Really just those wispy baby hairs on the sides that caused one neighbor to comment “is he growing a mullet?” Adam swore he wouldn’t let me do it- but what power does he have over a mama and her boy? :] Already, his daycare teacher asked if he had grown over the weekend. I smiled slyly and thought “must be the haircut.”

Owen’s new words for the day “ Nie” or “Nice” and “Boom-boom”.
